We specialize in structural design and engineering for a wide variety of construction projects and are versed in numerous building materials. This includes masonry, steel, timber, manufactured wood, concrete tilt up, traditional concrete, cold-form steel, aluminum, pre-manufactured buildings, and more. Our projects have been reviewed and approved by many of the strictest jurisdictions and building departments in the nation, including California Division of the State Architect (DSA), County of Los Angeles, Port of Los Angeles, California Coastal Commission, NAVFAC, City of Las Vegas, City of San Diego, The Walt Disney Company, Los Angeles USD, and many others.

Tilt-Up Design Services
4 S.T.E.L. Engineering's tilt-up experience extends back decades—beginning with Ajit Randhava & Assoc., then Bushra Tsai, Inc., and now 4 S.T.E.L. Engineering. With tens of millions of square feet of tilt-up buildings designed and engineered, we understand the need for balancing design with practical, real-world constructability; so, we work closely with our clients to deliver a solutions-oriented design.
Solar • Renewables • BESS Services
Since our inception, 4 S.T.E.L. Engineering has been a pioneer in the solar energy and renewables market.
4 S.T.E.L. has structurally designed and engineered solar canopies, ground mounts, roof mounts, and solar thermal projects for some of the nation's top renewable energy firms. In fact, to date, 4 S.T.E.L. has successfully designed and engineered in excess of a gigawatt of solar canopies, ground mounts, and roof mounts. Many of these projects have been constructed at California public schools and community colleges, which fall under the jurisdiction of the California Division of the State Architect (DSA). Now, with the rise in demand for battery energy storage systems (BESS), 4 S.T.E.L. has the knowledge and project experience to guide you through the submittal and approval process. Educational Services
4 S.T.E.L. Engineering understands the challenge of working on projects for public entities like school districts. Each year 4 S.T.E.L. permits dozens of projects through the California Division of the State Architect (DSA)—the permitting authority for California public schools and community colleges—and we have permitted projects for some of the biggest districts in California.
